CI Financial and Mubadala Capital Announce Completion of Take-Private Transaction by Mubadala Capital

Mubadala Capital completed its take-private acquisition of CI Financial on August 12, 2025. The deal values CI at about C$12.1 billion and gives Mubadala Capital indirect control of the diversified asset and wealth manager. CI will continue operating under its current brand, management team, and corporate structure for now, while its shares are expected to be delisted from the TSX.
