Fleming College and Mueller Canada Advance Smart Water Infrastructure Management

Fleming College’s CAWT received a $450,000 NSERC grant to continue a three-year research project with Mueller Canada. The team will use pipe network modeling, hydraulic analysis, and machine learning to improve a tool that predicts underground water pipe failures before they happen. Mueller Canada plans to add the resulting predictive model to its smart infrastructure suite for municipal and utility customers.
