P.I. Works and Turkcell Successfully Showcase the Automated Massive MIMO Management Solution

Works and Turkcell have successfully completed the largest Centralized SON project worldwide in terms of the number of modules deployed, which has also been recognized with an award at the “ Self-Organizing Networks World .” Now, both companies took a major step that will expedite Turkcell’s network densification efforts and ensure the delivery of ultra high speed experience in urban areas with Turkcell’s powerful 4.5G infrastructure. The automated load balancing actions handled approximately 50% more concurrent users and data volume in hotspot locations during busy hours. Turkcell CTO Gediz Sezgin said: “We have been working intensively to further enhance network capacity and improve overall user experience in preparation for 5G.
