Copiun Inc., a Marlborough, Mass.-based provider of a secure mobile collaboration solution with end-to-end data governance, has closed the final tranche of its $5m Series A funding.The round was led by Novak Biddle Venture Partners, with participation from RRE Ventures and local angel investors.The company, which met all performance milestones required to initiate the latest investment, having expanded both its customer base and revenue tenfold in 2011, intends to use the funding to continue accelerating growth through sales and marketing.Founded in late 2008 by CEO Puneesh Chaudhry, Copiun offers TrustedShare™,which lets mobile workers access and share corporate documents, while ensuring IT complete document lifecycle control.The company’s products are used by more than 200 enterprise customers globally.
