Polaris Transportation Group is using AI and robotic process automation to reduce manual work in freight quoting, customs processing, and order entry. The company has already automated most customs workflows with bots and has cut some order entry steps from 20–30 minutes to under four minutes. It is now building a more advanced quantum rating engine that will use AI to make faster pricing decisions across many variables. NorthStar Digital Solutions expects a pilot within six months and says the full system could take much longer because of its complexity.
