Adobe Acrobat users are experiencing a bug in version 24.005.20421 that can prevent PDFs from opening after they are saved to a network location. The error appears when Acrobat spawns multiple background tasks and shows a message about a running instance causing an error. Adobe recommends ending Acrobat tasks, changing a registry DWORD setting, and restarting the computer as a workaround. Adobe says it will include a permanent fix in its March update.
