Since 2015, Midwest BankCentre has facilitated more than $18 million in FHLB Des Moines affordable housing grants for St. Louis nonprofits, improving living conditions for 841 low-income households. Originally built in 1935, the Tower Grove Community Development Corporation will transform the building into two rental unitsa three-bedroom and a four-bedroomdesigned for immigrant families in collaboration with the International Institute of St. Louis.
