Gusto Picks Melio to Launch Bill Pay and Invoicing Solution

Accounts payable and receivable platform Melio is partnering with Gusto, a payroll, HR, and benefits provider used by more than 400,000 small and midsized businesses, to make it easier for SMBs to pay employees, contractors, vendors, and get paid via invoices from one platform. For more than a decade, Gusto has enabled businesses to quickly and compliantly hire, pay, onboard, and manage their teams. Using Melio’s embedded accounts payable technology, Bill Pay will enable Gusto customers to keep all of their payments in one place while maintaining control and visibility over their cash flow. Additionally, bills can be uploaded to the platform by taking a picture, automatic extraction from a user’s email, or syncing with accounting software, eliminating the need for manual entry. “The combination of Gusto’s extensive payroll capabilities and Melio’s accounts payable and receivable automation solution creates one payment and invoicing platform so that SMBs can focus their time and energy on what matters to them most—running their businesses,” Matan Bar, CEO and co-founder of Melio, said in a statement.
