Kontron introduces the new AL i.MX8M Mini LTE

The AL i.MX8M Mini LTE features a rugged housing and extensive communication interfaces, making it ideal for demanding control tasks as well as mobile and wireless IoT solutions. An outstanding feature is the integrated LTE Cat1 module, which ensures a reliable and fast connection for IoT applications. KontronOS is based on Yocto Linux and offers two redundant OS partitions for maximum availability and a secure management interface for updates and deployment. This means that the system already meets the requirements of the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), which defines strict regulations for the security of IoT devices.
