Israeli startup Anecdotes has raised an additional $30 million in a funding round led by the German investment firm DTCP. The company is developing a platform that helps organizations meet regulatory requirements in the cybersecurity fielda sector that is heating up due to increased reporting demands and the emergence of new regulations surrounding artificial intelligence.This latest investment is an extension of Anecdotes Series B round, in which it raised $25 million about a year ago, bringing the total for the round to $55 million. The initial part of the Series B round was led by Glilot Capital, with participation from Israeli funds Vertex Ventures and Red Dot Capital.Anecdotes was founded by CEO Yair Kuznitsov and CPO Roi Amior, both alumni of the IDFs elite 8200 intelligence unit. According to Kuznitsov, DTCP also participated in the earlier part of the round, albeit with a relatively small investment, and set a number of goals and milestones for the company to achieve within a year. After Anecdotes met all of these conditions, DTCP significantly increased its investment.Anecdotes operates in the GRC (governance, risk management, and compliance) market, which is currently at a pivotal moment.
