Colorado Springs' Bluestaq announces launch of UK subsidiary

Colorado Springs-based data analysis company Bluestaq has launched a subsidiary in the United Kingdom as part of its continuing global expansion.The government contractor said in a press release early Tuesday its newly launched U.K. subsidiary will "provide secure, in-country solutions for space domain awareness, defense interoperability and mission-critical data sharing. "The U.K. subsidiary gives us the opportunity to bring our technologies to that community, and thats huge," Harvey said , ahead of the companys official Tuesday announcement. That announcement came after Colorado economic development officials approved $5.57 million in incentives for the company so it could hire more people and expand its downtown Colorado Springs office space.Bluestaq hired 63 employees in 2024 and has hired 40 more so far in 2025, bringing its total number of employees to 180 people currently, Harvey said.In addition to its European expansion, a recent $50 million investment by Colorado Springs-based alternative asset manager ONE Bow River will allow Bluestaq to continue its growth in AI-driven data management, national security solutions and interoperability, the company said in its release. Bluestaq can scale and deliver its technologies faster because of the cash infusion, Harvey said.Bluestaq is the primary developer of the U.S. Space Forces Unified Data Library. Additionally, Bluestaq intends to build partnerships with universities across the Pikes Peak region to establish graduate programs around those state-of-the-art technologies.Bluestaq has also expanded beyond the defense industry.
