Alzheimer’s Community Care Receives Grant from Admiral’s Cove Foundation

Alzheimers Community Care (ACC), Floridas largest and premier provider of dementia-specific services, was recently awarded a grant from Admirals Cove Foundation.ACC will use the grant funds to provide scholarships to its specialized day centers for financially challenged families in the community.ACCs specialized day centers are open to anyone living with Alzheimers or a related neurocognitive disorder. The centers maintain a staff-to-patient ratio of 1-to-5 to ensure each patient receives the individualized care needed. The days include therapeutic activities including pet therapy, art therapy, music therapy, socialization, and physical exercise.The Admirals Cove Foundation exists to improve lives in northern Palm Beach County and the grant supports projects and programs of nonprofit organizations committed to improving the mental and physical wellness of community members.We could not be more grateful to receive this grant from the Admirals Cove Foundation.
