Our infrastructure secondaries business is investing over EUR 120 million in GESTCOMPOST, the largest organic waste treatment manager in Spain, acting as a cornerstone investor in a continuation fund. In addition to waste treatment, Gestcompost is building capabilities in the production of biogas and biomethane, which is an alternative fuel that is playing an important role in the energy transition. In line with our entrepreneurial governance approach, we will take two seats on Gestcomposts board and support management on implementing value creation initiatives, including increasing waste volumes and acquiring new biomethane plants.
