archTIS acquires US-based Direktiv’s assets in US$750K deal

Information security provider archTIS has acquired the assets, employees and customers of Direktiv in a deal worth a total of US$750,000 in cash. The US-based software vendor was founded in 2021 and touts itself as a provider of event-driven orchestration solutions, allowing users to build workflows using containers or code in a severless platform. According to the ASX statement, the deal will enable archTIS to enhance its zero trust security capabilities by integrating Direktiv’s attribute-based access control (ABAC) and event-driven orchestration platform into its own offerings. “This is crucial for regulated organisations mandated to implement zero trust architectures for defending against increasing cyber attacks.” Additionally, Direktiv’s development and technology teams from Europe and Australia will be brought into archTIS to support the expansion of the provider’s product portfolio. This includes Direktiv founders Wilhelm Wonigkeit and Jens Gerke, who have been appointed to the roles of global architect and software engineering manager, respectively.
