Another commuter town lettings acquisition by Foxtons

Foxtons – which has already gone on record as wanting to have up to 600 branches across the country – has made a second agency acquisition in Watford. The move takes Foxtons’ tenancy total to 31,000 and the latest acquisition comes after the three-branch Imagine Property Group in Watford was snapped up last October. In a statement to shareholders Foxtons says “the rapid integration of Imagine Property Group to create a new Watford hub has enabled this further acquisition [of Marshall Vizard]”. Guy Gittins, chief executive at Foxtons, says: “I am delighted to announce the acquisition of Marshall Vizard … This acquisition is another important step in our strategy to expand our footprint in key commuter towns, strengthening our position in high-demand rental markets. “Watford represents a strong rental market with significant demand, and this acquisition enables us to enhance our service offering while leveraging our expertise, technology, and scale to unlock further growth opportunities.”
