Q*Bird, Eurofiber and Single Quantum partnership Awarded €1 Million Grant for Quantum Key Distribution Project

The project will establish QKD connections across two of Eurofibers primary data centers in the Randstad region.The project marks a significant milestone in the development of Measurement Device Independent (MDI) quantum key distribution technology, offering secure, tamper-proof communication between users. The project will establish a network of interconnected QKD systems, enabling encrypted communication between users in Amsterdam and Rotterdam. By leveraging Eurofibers extensive fiber optic network, Q*Birds technology delivers next-generation encryption capabilities to industries requiring high levels of confidentiality.This partnership underscores Q*Birds leadership in quantum-secured networking and highlights the transformative potential of QKD.
