SpecterOps Raises $75M in Series B Funding

SpecterOps, an Alexandria, VA-based provider of adversary-focused cybersecurity solutions with targeted insights of advanced threat actor tradecraft, raised $75M in Series B funding. The round was led by Insight Partners, with participation from additional investors including Ansa Capital, M12, Ballistic Ventures, Decibel and Cisco Investments. The company intends to use the funds to scale BloodHound Enterprise (BHE), its first platform for comprehensively removing identity-based Attack Paths. Led by CEO David McGuire, SpecterOps specializes in identity risk reduction. It built and maintains widely used open-source security toolsets, including BloodHound, the company’s foundational tool that enables attack path management in Active Directory, Entra ID and hybrid environments.
