Imua Raises $5M in Seed Funding

Imua (fka Exocore), a San Francisco, CA-based provider of a purpose-built L1 blockchain for shared security, raised a $5M in Seed funding. The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its development efforts. Co-founded by crypto veterans Warren Paul Anderson and Rongjian Lan, along with Raluca Ada Popa, Imua is a new purpose-built L1 blockchain for shared security that aggregates on-chain decentralized trust via restaking and extends it as a service to the off-chain world of AI and more. The company uses novel techniques to bundle decentralized security & trust from top blockchains like Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP and Solana, and extends it as a service to secure off-chain networks such as AI. Imua public testnet is live with 42 validators and has partnered with over a dozen projects.
