International multi-million grants to tackle health and water challenges

Three Swiss startups have been awarded funding up to 10 million as part of international and European projects aiming to develop a functional test to diagnosis food allergies and an autologous bio-printed liver. ATANIS proposal has been selected to receive the $2 million grant, to be used in furthering the commercialization efforts of FAST-PASE.FAST-PASE is a novel functional test to help diagnose allergy based on a proprietary engineered mast cell line. CELLnTEC is a pioneering developer of a fully defined, animal and human component-free precision media for stem cell research and regenerative medicine. Around the world, CELLnTEC enables scientists to create sophisticated in vitro cell systems.bNovate awarded 4m grant in EU project A consortium of companies, including Swiss startup bNovate Technologies which provided technologies for rapid microbiology testing, have secured 4 million for the ToDrinQ project at Altis, the water and energy utility owned by the city of Val de Bagnes in the Canton of Valais, Switzerland. At its core is the ToDrinQ Toolkita groundbreaking collection of hardware, software, methods, and algorithms designed to enhance the robustness and adaptability of water systems.
