Super Evil Megacorp raises $19 million to bring 5v5 battles and engine improvements to Vainglory

Super Evil Megacorp has raised $19 million in its latest round of funding to continue development of its game Vainglory and the engine it runs on. Super Evil is hoping to increase the engines capability to deliver high-quality graphics at high framerates on mobile devices. Along with the funding round, the developer also revealed that it has recently doubled its studio space and hired new staff. Vainglory is set to make its TV debut in a few weeks as part of a special episode of a new Disney XD program. Super Evil continues to run quarterly tournaments for the game, and partnered with ESL UK to produce its Spring Championship in May 2017.
