The $20 million will be used in part to expand the reach of RSN.comTV, a Web TV convergence product that merges real-time Internet content with RSN programming for broadcast through cable networks such as CNN Headline News. GlobeRanger will use the funding to complete beta trials of its products, particularly its eLocate application, which tracks the real-time location of goods in transit and enables businesses to proactively and continuously optimize their supply chain. SAN FRANCISCO -- DotComix, an animation studio that creates original short-form comedic content daily for the online generation, completed its Series C round of financing, securing $8.5 million. SAN FRANCISCO-- PRN Corp., a retail network for the delivery of interactive advertising and streaming media content, received a $5 million equity investment from Matsushita Electric Industrial Co. Ltd. through its subsidiary, Panasonic Digital Concepts Center. FOLIOfns initial product - FOLIO investing - allows investors to build, purchase, customize and control their own stock portfolios for a flat monthly or annual fee with no trading commissions.
