Azaleos Corp., a Seattle-based developer of messaging applications for use with Microsoft Exchange Server and BlackBerry Enterprise Server, announced Tuesday that it has concluded its third round of venture financing after securing $10 million. Azaleos said Ignition Partners led the effort while existing investors such as Second Avenue Partners also participated. Azaleos said it will use the money to expand into China, Europe, South America and Asia. Azaleos added that it also will use the funds for sales and marketing efforts intended to capitalize on an industry-wide migration to Microsoft Exchange 2007. The company also reported that Rick Devenuti, a former Microsoft chief information officer and senior vice president of services and information technology, has joined Azaleos board of directors.
