Commit Biologics Raises €5.5M in Seed Financing Extension

Commit Biologics, an Aarhus, Denmark-based company which specializes in the activation of the complement system to treat cancer and autoimmune disease, raised €5.5M in Seed extension funding. The round included the contribution from new investor Korys, which brought the total amount to €21.5M. The company intends to use the funds to further advance the BiCE platform and work towards drug candidate selection, extending its runway into late 2026. BiCE is a modular system that can arm antibodies to direct the complement system in a highly targeted way to selectively kill tumor cells or cells implicated in autoimmune disease. The company has appointed Chief Scientific Officer Mikkel Wandahl Pedersen as Interim CEO.
