Hambrecht + Co. and including CNET, ZDNet, Ask Jeeves and Richmont Capital Partners. SAN MATEO, Calif. -- Voquette, a pioneer in personal Web audio, completed a $17.3 million equity financing led by 21st Century Internet Venture Partners and including Citigroup Investments (NYSE: ) and Philips Electronics. The company previously raised $5.1 million in seed capital from a group led by iMinds Ventures and including Broadview, Net Angels Fund, Pareto Partners, and individual investors. The proceeds will be primarily targeted for investment into deals identified by DotCom Ventures, a Peacock Internet subsidiary; and secondarily, into the Companys professional sports division, and into its real estate interests. BLUE BELL, Pa. -- Omnient Corp., an end-to-end e-business consulting and development firm, secured $3.75 million in its first round of institutional financing from LLR Equity Partners, NewSpring Ventures and Odyssey Capital.
