Over $1 trillion worth of real estate projects are initiated in the U.S. every year, and they all have one thing in common they get delayed in the pre-construction stage. We experienced this firsthand while developing $500 million worth of clean energy projects in Europe. It took us 2 years to develop the first project when it should have taken only 6 months.We started PermitPortal to build tools that automate the manual tasks that took up most of our time: finding, evaluating, and closing new sites, understanding local guidelines, and monitoring permit applications.How we address thisOur goal is to build a platform that helps developers navigate and accelerate all stages of the pre-construction process.
