Ordú to add 10 jobs after agreeing €1.5m Lazenby Group partnership

Galway-based Ord\xfa, which provides advanced online ordering systems to the food service, will create 10 product development jobs in the next year after securing 1.5m from global kiosk manufacturer Lazenby Group.The companies expect their partnership to generate 9m in additional revenue for Ord\xfa over the next three years, and facilitate the expansion of its offerings across fast food, hospitality, pubs and restaurants, retail, and pharmacies.The investment will cover the recruitment and support of staff as well as the roll out of new technologies at Ord\xfa.Established in 1963 and based in Hull, Lazenby Group is a leading kiosk manufacturer that created the self-sanitising Safe-Touch kiosk technology, with clients including NHS, Holiday Inn, Disney, Nestle, and Greggs.The group has sought a software partner to streamline its operations to enable growth in Ireland, the UK and Europe, and selected Ord\xfa for its "cutting-edge software and established market presence in Ireland and the UK".Additionally, targeting the pharmacy sector, which Ord\xfa is also expanding into, was a key focus for Lazenby.Ord\xfas software incorporates a smart upselling engine that it claims had driven a 20% increase in order value, and Lazenby expects it will expand its market reach significantly by integrating Ord\xfa technology.The group projects that it will be able to increase its annual manufacturing and sales capacity from 2,000 to 3,500 kiosks as a result of the deal.
