FABTECH 2024 Preview: Fabricating machinery showcased for end-to-end process automation
Summary
With its vision of an integrated Smart Factory, Bystronic helps companies master their fabricating challenges with intelligent, highly networked, and flexible systems and software. Products to be presented include the 30-kW ByCut Star 3015 fibre laser with a new product for loading/unloading flat sheet materials, as well as the 4-kW ByTube Star fibre laser that fully automates the tube cutting process from loading full-length tubes to unloading finished parts. Nitrogen-generation equipment will be demonstrated, along with mixing of nitrogen and oxygen (MixGas). The BySoft Suite software simplifies the end-to-end process from the quote to the finished part. A new solutions hub area in the booth will feature stations for software, automation, services, laser packages, and consulting.
