Momase ( Wewak , Madang and Vanimo) and NGI ( Kimbe, Rabaul and Kavieng) can be powered ocean power plants 2. Southern region ( Central Province, Alotau and Popondetta) can be powered by solar photovoltaic power farm plants 3. Highly region can be powered by hydro power plants We need to source more foreign direct investment parties to finance, build, own and operate large scale energy projects, and once their contract ends we take full ownership of the project... They will not connect into PNG Power Ltd grid because PNG Power Ltd company has K700 million owed to existing IPP operating in PNG .... PNG Power Ltd company will have to offload ownership of their power upstream, mid stream and downstream infrastructure, assets and grid operating in PNG to existing IPP or sell it to potential forever direct parties to buy ,own and operate , maintain and upgrade to improve its current conditions.... PNG Power Ltd company will have to sell all its entire business to pay the outstanding K700 million debt to existing IPP, but keep Port Moresby city and Lae city power business and market .... to move forward... PNG must open their power market openly to invite existing IPP and potential interested Foreign direct investment parties to enter the market, finance, own and operate , maintain and upgrade existing business and expand their business with the plan... aim to improve power generation or develop new power generation project, and increase electricity supply, distribution and mantainance services in the country....
