Hinge Health unveils new FDA-cleared wireless pain relief device
Summary
San Francisco-based Hinge designed the device to deliver electrical nerve stimulation for non-invasive, non-addictive pain relief within minutes. Small and light, Enso 3 attaches to the skin with a reusable gel pad for comfortability before exercise therapy or during daily activities affected by pain. In that trial, Enso showed superior pain reduction compared to a traditional transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) device and exercise therapy alone. “A musculoskeletal solution is incomplete without an effective way to help people overcome pain that disrupts their daily activities,” said Daniel Perez, CEO and co-founder of Hinge Health. “We’re thrilled to be shipping this unparalleled hardware-software medical solution to Hinge Health members, empowering them with the industry’s most advanced pain relief device that’s seamlessly integrated with the world’s leading exercise therapy program.”
