Ex-Amazonians raise $1.1M for online instruction platform Everpath

Funding Rounds

Summary

It’s been less than a month since the folks at Everpath graduated from Techstars Seattle, but things are already rolling for the young startup. Everpath, which offers a one-stop platform for online instructors to host their lessons, has raised a $1.1M seed round from Seattle and Bay Area angel investors including Geoff Entress, Dave Schappell, Dan Shapiro and T.A. Everpath, founded by three former Amazon employees, lets anyone create and deliver online courses from their own self-branded website. “Our solution is clearly resonating with the instructors in our beta program and we’re excited to bring this to market early next year,” CEO Sandi Lin told us on Tuesday. “The financing will help us deliver an even better experience and we’re very glad to have the support of amazing Seattle and Bay Area investors.” You can learn more about Everpath with our Startup Spotlight here and watch Lin’s pitch at Techstars Seattle Demo Day here.
