A Channel 4-backed second-hand furniture platform which is "ready to expand across the UK" has raised almost \xa31m through its crowdfunding campaign.At the time of writing, Vinterior has raised \xa3947,622 from 283 investors on Republic Europe, formerly Seedrs.The company has 300,000 registered users and more than \xa375m gross merchandise volume.It has previously raised \xa312m in funding, including a \xa33m investment from Channel 4.On its crowdfunding page, the company said: "Advertising in the London underground and buses in the past year has allowed us to effectively acquire new customers and grow our brand awareness in London. "This partnership will enable us to use TV advertising and tap into significant audiences for popular Channel 4 shows featuring home improvement, such as Grand Designs, to fuel our UK expansion. "It added: "With over \xa375m in gross merchandise volume and a proven business model, were ready to expand across the UK."
