Cipkar said part of the real value of Resimate is in taking away the confusion about how you build an ADU, navigating permitting and improving the speed of construction. By working with companies, which build the tiny homes offsite while the permitting process goes on, Cipkar estimates theyll be able to create an ADU ready to inhabit in half the time it takes for traditional onsite construction. Resimate is partnering with contractors that have experience in installing ADUs and will soon expand to eight companies building prefabricated or modular homes.
