Leadership change at Phoebus Software as CEO steps down
Summary
Paul Hunt, CEO of UK-based Phoebus Software, has stepped down from his role after two decades at the helm. “He has also overseen its expansion and growth from a relatively small company 20 years ago to the point where it now has 140 staff and more than £110 billion assets under management while it provides the servicing software for more than 25 banks, building societies, savings institutions, and third-party service providers.” Founded in 1989, Phoebus provides mortgages and savings technology to financial institutions in the UK and Ireland. The functionality encompasses originations, primary and specialist servicing, general ledger, treasury and securitisation. Meanwhile, chief revenue officer Adam Oldfield has been promoted to the managing director (MD) role. Commenting on his appointment, Oldfield says the team has “a great vision for taking the company forward”, with the aim to grow its presence in the UK and across Europe.
