Carestream Enhances DRX-Evolution Plus and ImageView Software

Carestream Health has added new enhancements to its ImageView software and DRX-Evolution Plus system. According to Carestream, the new tools help radiographers quickly confirm precise positioning for more productive image capture and diagnosis. The additions to Carestream’s DRX-Evolution Plus digital radiography system include the latest ImageView 2.1 software as well as new reliable grid frames for the wall stand, a bi-directional audio assist, a patient picture option, and an AEC edge location on the console screen. “Carestream is continuously focused on helping deliver more productivity with our DR portfolio,” said Steve Romocki, Carestream Health’s worldwide product director, Digital Radiography (DR) Room systems. “These latest improvements deliver on that need—with camera-based positioning features for faster, more accurate positioning, fewer retakes, and more comfortable patient exams.” Last month, the company launched its Image Suite MR 10 software to help improve productivity and efficiency while enabling a more user-friendly imaging experience for radiographers.
