Pilot of regional council IRIS NextGen software scheduled for 2025
Summary
The company’s IRIS Next Generation programme was now fully established with nine councils carrying on the legacy of the six that created the organisation more than a decade ago, chair Mike Nield said in RSHL’s 2024 statement of intent. RSHL is now in the build phase of the IRIS NextGen programme, developing functionality specific to regional councils, and some that would benefit all councils, using Datacom’s Datascape software, on which the new system is based, RSHL chief executive Mark Donnelly told Reseller News. What is referred to as the “regional council template” was being built on the Datascape platform with reliance on its finance, CRM, regulatory and mobile field worker products. “While the build progresses, RSHL is working with teams of subject matter experts from councils, to develop shared understanding of good practice for regulatory processes,” Donnelly said. While alignment around good practice was one of the key tenets of the programme, the councils were also now focusing on preparing for implementations.
