Netrounds Raises Series A Funding Round

Netrounds , a Swedish provider of software-based active testing, monitoring and automated troubleshooting solutions for communications service providers and global enterprises, raised a Series A funding round. The round was led by Swisscom Ventures, the venture capital arm of Switzerland’s leading telecommunications and IT company, Swisscom Group, and a new Nordic technology investment fund which is expected to be disclosed and announced at the end of Q1, 2019. In conjunction with the funding, Pär Lange, Investment Director at Swisscom Ventures, will take seat on the Netrounds board of directors. The company intends to use the funds to expand global sales operations, strengthen key talent acquisition and to continue solution innovation. Led by Mats Nordlund, CEO and co-founder, Netrounds is an active network measurement solution provider for physical, hybrid and virtual networks.
