Im thrilled to announce that Cordon has closed its pre-seed round at \xa3840k, bringing 4 new VCs on board to help us along the way. We also brought in a group of diverse angel investors from the US and Europe with interests in farming, ecology, and automation. The investment environment is pretty challenging for any startup at the minute, and particularly one designing hardware, so its a real vote of confidence to be able to raise quite a lot more than our initial target from such a broad and experienced group. This funding should enable us to bring our patent-pending spray technology to first deployments, showing substantial reductions in pesticide requirements and reduced costs for farmers.
