CPE News Brief (4.24.2024) Forcen has officially disclosed the closing of CDN $8.38 million Series A financing.The financing closed in several closings in Q4 2023 and January 2024.Brightspark Ventures and BDC Capital led the financing and was joined by MaRS IAF, Garage Capital, Emerging Ventures and private investors from Canada and USA.Mark Skapinker from Brightspark and Robert Simon from BDC will join Forcens 4-member board of directors.Led by founder Robert Brooks, Forcen is a Toronto based robotic sensing & edge AI company. It designs and manufactures robust force/torque sensing & edge AI systems for surgical, logistics, humanoid, space, & frontier robotic applications, and continue to push the boundary of robotics sensing capabilities.
