Sensibill, a Toronto, Ontario, Canada-based provider of a digital receipt data service for banks, raised $17.3m in Series A funding.The company intends to use the funds to continue developing its suite of solutions and expand its customer base in in the United States, U.K, and Australia.Led by Corey Gross, CEO, Sensibill provides a white-label Software as a Service platform that allows personal and business banking customers to manage line-item receipts directly from their desktop and mobile banking applications.Customers can capture and store paper and electronic receipts, which can then be accessed and used for returns, exchanges, expenses, taxes and accounting.Last year, the company launched its smart receipt management service with Scotiabank and TD Canada Trust’s mobile wallet app UGO Wallet.
