SG and PH-based deep tech startup Nibertex secures funding from PH venture capital fund Foxmont Capital Partners

PFAS (Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances), often referred to as the forever chemical, is commonly found in textiles, boasting bonds so resilient that they persist for hundreds of thousands of years and can impact the environment by seeping into groundwater and surface water such as lakes and rivers.Founded in 2019 by Jae H. Park and Jae M. Park, Nibertex uses a proprietary electrospinning process to create 100% PFAS-free nanofiber films ensuring breathability and water resistance, while also fulfilling the pressing need for materials that meet strict environmental standards set by customers and governments. The company focuses on films fit for use in a variety of industries such as electronics, automotive, and construction.Nibertexs Philippine operations are based out of First Cavite Industrial Estate (FCIE) in Dasmari\xf1as, Cavite, a joint project of the National Development Company, Marubeni Corporation, and Japan International Development Organization.
