Paragon 28 launches new solution for ankle ligament repair

The system is designed to address syndesmotic instability by allowing surgeons to place the Grapple R3INFORCE Anchors in plate holes or other anatomic locations and route pre-loaded suture tape to repair damaged ligaments. It features Dynamic Anchors that permit micromotion in the repair, closely mimicking the mechanics of the native tissue. Paragon 28 said the system is compatible with its Grappler Knotless Sutures, providing surgeons with various configuration options, enabling them to tailor the syndesmotic repair according to their treatment philosophies. “In launching the Grappler R3INFORCE System and Dynamic Knotless Anchor, we are adding to our comprehensive and growing suite of novel solutions designed specifically to treat injuries to the highly complex syndesmosis.” The Grappler R3INFORCE Extraosseous Repair System is provided in a sterile pack, which includes all necessary instrumentation for the procedure. Earlier this year, Paragon 28 introduced the Grappler Knotless Anchor System and Bridgeline Tape for the foot and ankle soft tissue market.
