CSU developing human capital management solution to replace current HR systems and processes
Summary
To meet the needs of a modern workforce dedicated to fulfilling Colorado State University’s academic, research and outreach missions, CSU has begun the process of acquiring a state-of-the-art human capital management system. Through a multi-campus approach, this cloud-based solution is being developed to address the evolving and diverse operational needs of CSU’s Fort Collins and Pueblo campuses. “A new human capital management system will be a key component for organizational evolution as we look to new HR practices, processes and workflows aimed at investing in our people. “This multicampus-wide effort will help CSU create efficiencies in processes and ease of use that will be seen by our employees, leaders and prospective candidates,” said Eric Ray, vice president for human resources. “It will support our efforts to attract, retain and engage with top talent to serve our teaching, research, service and extension missions.” The development of the new HCM is currently in the pre-implementation phase.
