The Melbourne-based software and services provider announced the sale of its Microsoft Business Applications (MBA) practice on 29 February to privately owned financial advisory and accounting firm Findex. The business known as FiveP will continue to focus on modern workplace solutions while expanding into security, identity and Copilot artificial intelligence (AI) offerings under the leadership of founder and CEO David Dennis. Meanwhile, Baret will be led by current FiveP CMO Matt Krosch as CEO and CTO Jane Prowse, who will be retaining her title but will transition to focus solely on the solutions product development. "External parties, not just Microsoft Teams users, can now benefit from Barets role-based messaging capabilities," said Prowse. "We are entering our next stage of growth in the software-as-a-service space led by the impact that our role-based messaging solution, Baret, is delivering for health services across Australian," Dennis added.
