Home-building software startup Digs lands $7M

The 2-year-old company is an AI-powered collaboration platform for builders and homeowners that organizes documents, provides communication tools, and generates 3D digital versions of homes, among other features. Other project management software exists, such as ProCore and BuilderTrend, but Fink said Digs separates itself by focusing on both internal and external collaboration. Fink previously founded an augmented reality glasses startup called ONtheGo Platforms, which Atheer acquired in 2015. Fink started Digs with Ty Frackiewicz, who previously co-founded ONtheGo and was vice president of product at Streem. Digs recently hired former Drop CEO and Streem exec Jef Holove as its chief operating officer.
