Brisbane’s RedEye acquired by US-based Accruent
Summary
According to Accruent, RedEye’s solution contains advanced search capabilities, is ISO 27001 compliant and has application programming interface (API) connectivity to integrate documents across business systems. Additionally, users will have access to regional data hosting hubs, which are designed to be compliant with relevant privacy and security regulations. Acquired for an unknown sum, Accruent president Bill Pollak claimed the deal would see it expand geographically and invest further in solutions across the facility and asset workflow. The company also said that the acquisition would strengthen its leadership in the engineering document management system (EDMS) space that, coupled with its portfolio, would result in a solution that allows users to manage engineering documents, drawings and media from any device. “Overall, RedEye’s industry-focused, cloud-native solution, coupled with its strong customer satisfaction, aligns with our investment strategy and long-term objectives."
