The projects generate enough energy to supply local communities while including local authorities in delivering projects which cut carbon, supply clean electricity, and generate millions of pounds for councils to fund essential services. The solar farms generate electricity for Warrington Borough Council, making them the first local authority to produce all its electricity from clean energy.
