Delinea Adds Identity Threat Expertise with Authomize Acquisition

Privileged access management (PAM) provider Delinea has acquired Authomize, a company focused on the detection and elimination of identity-based threat across the cloud. The acquisition marries the identity discovery and visibility capabilities of Authomize with Delineas software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions for PAM, the companies said in a prepared statement. Accordingly, Delinea will deliver cloud infrastructure entitlement management (CIEM) and identity threat detection and response (ITDR) capabilities through its cloud-native platform. As CEO Art Gilliland explained: "The combination of Delinea and Authomize gives customers the power to detect and mitigate active identity threats across SaaS applications, cloud, and hybrid infrastructure. Our joint technologies will harness continuous monitoring and deliver adaptive and broad privilege controls, all within a consolidated cloud-native platform, ensuring awareness and response to protect identities and data."
