Marelli at CES 2024 technology preview: software-defined interior
Summary
The interior replaces traditional analog interfaces with digital displays, offering vehicle owners the ability to personalise content using artificial intelligence (AI). Marelli will present its latest technologies under the theme ‘Design-Led Innovation’, from January 9-11th, 2024, at the Wynn Hotel, Latour Ballroom 5-6, in Las Vegas, NV. The interior also features a holographic display hosting Marelli’s Virtual Assistant, an advanced human-machine interface that functions as an in-vehicle co-pilot, enhancing the driving experience and the interaction between the vehicle and its occupants. Utilising Eyeris’ in-cabin monocular 3D sensing AI, CAMEX assesses users’ faces, bodies, and hands in 3D space to adapt vehicle settings and functionalities, as well as prompt interactions with the Virtual Assistant. Marellis ambient lighting solution in the interior offers a range of colours, intensity levels, and cabin area options, adaptable to user preferences and working in tandem with decorative and smart surfaces.
