Marquee investors, including veteran banker Deepak Parekh, HDFC Securities chairman Bharat Shah and Macleods Pharmaceuticals MD Rajendra Agarwal, participated in the funding round.According to an official, the capital infusion will help fund the companys plans of establishing around 22 high-end comprehensive kidney care facilities across the country by March 2026.Of these, four centres will be opened by the end of the current fiscal year.Founded in 2014 by nephrologist Pratim Sengupta, Nephrocare India now has three kidney care clinics in Bengal and a flagship holistic healthcare facility in Salt Lake.
