Agrinorm raises seven-digit sum to combat volatility in fresh-produce supply chains
Summary
Against the backdrop of climate change, inflation, and escalating energy prices, ensuring a steady supply of fresh produce has become more challenging than ever. Founded in 2019 by Daria Reisch and Sharon Wulff, Agrinorm is reducing the complexity of produce trading with a dedicated AI solution that helps fresh-produce traders manage uncertainties associated with product quality. The software allows traders to manage their supply chains more efficiently, meet customer expectations, reduce costs, improve returns for growers, and minimize the environmental impact of the fruits and vegetables we consume. Since its launch in October 2021, Agrinorm has had a growing customer base in Europe and Latin America, with further expansion planned. "We are incredibly grateful to QBIT Capital and the esteemed SICTIC investors for leading and supporting this funding round," said the founders in a statement on LinkedIn.
